1. Ensure the board is fully dry and free of debris

2. Using a paper towel or dry cloth rub the provided board butter into the board in a circular motion until the full surface area is covered with an even layer.

   NOTE: The amount of board butter depends on the size of your board, somewhere between the size of 1-2 quarters.

1. Let that rest for 25-30 mins

2. After the rest, buff out the excess with a dry cloth or paper towel 

3. Let the board dry for about 2 days before using 

4. Congratulations you have successfully refinished your board!  

5. Refinish at least  bi-annually 

** For best results refinish after a salt and lemon deep scrub**

When the  top of  your board looks dry follow these steps

Board Butter Ingredients

• 100% Raw local beeswax 

• Bumblechutes Woodworkers Oil

  • Food safe mineral oil

  • Fractionated coconut oil

  • Lemon essential oil

  • Vitamin E oil (for shelf stability)

The oil soaks in to create a moisture barrier within the wood, while the beeswax hardens on the surface, creating a waterproof seal.

These two components are melted together to create a 100% food safe board butter!
